The Cologne-based jewellery group begins using MockShop for its retail planning and visual merchandising

PRESS RELEASE

German jewellery retail group beeline has begun using Dutch retail technology company Visual Retailing’s MockShop software to overhaul the way it plans its hundreds of SIX and I AM stores and thousands of branded concessions.

By using MockShop, beeline can now visualise their jewellery collections and accessories in a real-time 3D store environment. The software allows them to drag and drop their products into the 3D store and gain a complete and consistent overview of how their 250 owned stores will look across 53 countries.

They are also able to create 3D visualisations of concessions at department stores and multibrand retailers. This ensures beeline’s brand and customer experience remains consistent across their 20,500 sales areas.

Once the stores are planned and merchandised in 3D, MockShop automatically creates a planogram to be sent to beeline’s store merchandising teams. Each planogram shows a detailed 3D store plan with the quantities of each product and what fixture they go on - along with barcodes and all the crucial information the teams need at a glance.

The planograms can be divided by store cluster to make sure only the right products and fixtures to be merchandised are present in the visual merchandising directives.

"By making it easier and faster to plan products and stores, you can really look to find more ways to drive that perfect customer experience. That’s how you
increase foot traffic to your stores."

- Tom Van Soest, CEO, Visual Retailing

In order for the retail group to plan its product collections more efficiently, MockShop creates an intuitive visual shell over all of beeline’s product data. beeline’s planning teams can now easily sort through the data - based on criteria such as sell through, colour, price and more - then drag and drop products into a storyboard or 3D store with ease.

“Our retail stores and concession POS's are the places where our customers can really connect with our brand. Partnering with Visual Retailing means we can deliver a better in-store experience to customers with much more speed, ease and freedom than ever before.” said Philipp Eisele, Head of Merchandise Management at beeline Group.

“Instead of digging through spreadsheets to look at our data, MockShop makes it easy to plan, sort and put our latest jewellery and accessories into a 3D environment. We can also use it to send a VM directive to our store staff and mobile merchandisers in a few clicks. It will really change the way we work across our whole organisation.” added Eisele.

“We’re thrilled that beeline has started using our 3D technology to plan their stores and concessions. It’s a great testament to the flexibility of MockShop that more and more non-apparel retailers are joining our global customer base.” said Tom Van Soest, CEO at Visual Retailing.
